hi, i'm arden!

runner, dog mom, serial foodie…

i spent the last year living and working in manila, philippines — building go-to-market campaigns for a digital bank, learning tagalog, and discovering that a ₱5 pandesal from a street cart is truly one of the greatest things in the world.

these days i spend my time on market research, creative direction, and building a brand that consumers actually trust. off the clock i travel wherever i can, run marathons i'm not ready for, and spend more time in grocery stores than i probably should.

PamaskoLoan christmas campaign

Tonik's first fully omnichannel campaign — integrating digital content, in-store retail activations, and large-scale barangay community events simultaneously.

mechanism: customers who purchase appliances or gadgets through a Tonik Shop Installment Loan are entered for a chance to be 1 of 20 weekly winners to have their monthly installments waived.

drove a 97% lift in organic reach, 4.5× engagement rate, 12% lift in brand-related search volume, and in-store loan applications vs. daily baseline.

Time Deposit campaign

worth the wait — 8% Time Deposit

through a weekly AI-assisted competitive analysis process i built, i identified a gap in the market: a competitor had launched a high-yield savings product at a high rate, but with a minimum deposit requirement that immediately excluded the mass-market consumer they claimed to be serving.

this finding directly informed the development and launch of Tonik's 8% Time Deposit campaign: starting at just ₱5,000, no maintaining balance, no conditions. the positioning was simple: same rate, actually accessible.

this campaign is a direct example of what the weekly competitive analysis process is designed to produce — not just awareness of what competitors are doing, but identification of the gap between their offer and what our consumer actually needs.

what better way to build real community connection than valentine's day? 💌

we brought in beloved local talent (Queen Semana + Jerome Sang) to turn the Home Along store floor into an experience. they serenaded customers, handed out flowers, and created the kind of moments that don't feel like marketing at all.

the best way to make a brand feel human is to show up, in-person, with people consumers already love — and that's exactly what we did.

financial literacy content

these are a selection of blogs i wrote, each topic identified through SEO keyword gap analysis  → a process of finding search terms with high consumer demand where Tonik had no existing content.

the goal was twofold: improve organic discoverability for loan-related queries, and fill information gaps for consumers navigating financial products for the first time. each topic was chosen because real people were searching for it and not finding a clear answer.

all content written & edited in adherence to Tonik's established brand voice.
